Oana Labes, MBA, CPA

Oana is a seasoned business financial strategist and Chartered Professional Accountant with over 20 years of business experience building 2 companies as an entrepreneur, and financing hundreds of companies as a commercial banker.

Her focus is on helping business owners, CEOs, and Boards of Directors to scale revenues, improve profitability, and maximize enterprise value through strategic financial planning.

Through Financiario, Oana complements and expands the capacity of Controllers, VPs of Finance and CFOs, to help companies navigate short-, medium- and long-term financing requirements needed to:

✅buy another business
✅set up a foreign operation
✅exit the business altogether.

Over the past decade, Oana's strategic financing and advisory work helped grow an extensive list of successful companies, many of which are now included in Deloitte’s Fast 50, The Globe and Mail’s Top Growing Companies, or OBJ’s Fastest Growing Companies. 

Oana has an MBA from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Economics from Babes Bolyai University of Cluj Napoca.  

Daniel is an Electrical Engineer with over 15 years of global experience in telecommunications systems, power transmission and power distribution systems.

At Financiario, his primary responsibility revolves around the identification, development, and implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions that cater to the unique needs and requirements of the firm's diverse clientele. By incorporating these innovative technologies, he helps drive the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the company's services, ultimately helping clients make informed decisions towards achieving their financial goals. 

Daniel is also a Senior Optical Transport Engineer with a global telecommunications networking equipment and software services company, where he is responsible for new technology introduction into Webscale Internet Content Provider customers. He also provides ongoing engineering support to Sales Engineers, as well as technical consulting support to customers looking to perform core network expansions.

Daniel has a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from University of Ottawa and a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from University Politehnica of Bucharest.
